This is the standard vacuum motor used on a variety of cold and hot water extractors that operate with one vacuum motor.  Same vacuum motor as any with an Ametek Lamb serial number starting with "117." The two stage vacuum motor measures 7.2" in diameter (as measured along the face of the unit, where the air gets sucked in). It can be used as an alternative to a three stage vacuum motor of the same diameter, as will work with solution pump sprays of up to 100psi without any issues of water being left on the surface.  Please note that the picture is not an accurate representation of the vac motor we supply, our vac motor does not have the black plastic material over the top of the fan area (the fan shroud), instead, we've source ametek lamb motors fabricated with metal for the fan shroud, which is more durable.

FOR THERMAX MACHINES: This is the standard vacuum motor for the CP3, current CP5 and vintage CP12's that used one vacuum motor--not for current CP-12s (also know as DV-12 for 'dual vac') that use two vacuum motors. The 117 series vacuum motor REPLACES original serial numbe 117488-13 on the original CP-3 and CP-5 machines. Even older CP5s used a three stage vacuum motor of the same diameter, so if you have a CP5 you can use this or the three stage vacuum motor that we sell as well.
