Collinite 925 Fiberglass Boat Wax (the same as Collinite 845 Insulator Wax) is a high quality carnauba wax with tremendous durability to stand up to the harshest marine environments. It will easily withstand scrubbing, scuffing, detergents, salt water and marine organisms for the entire season. We recommend using a compound on marine gel coats for best results with Collinite 925. While not required, we've found that the Carnauba wax in Collinite 925 sticks best to gel coats after the surface has been adequately cleaned with a compound. Collinite 920 Fiberglass Boat Cleaner is a good choice, for heavier oxidation, try Presta Ultra Cutting Creme. When applying Collinite 925, we recommend working a small 3 foot by 3 foot area first (do not apply to the whole boat at once). Let the wax ALMOST completely dry and buff off. The longer you let the wax dry, the harder it is to remove, but the more durable the finish (that's the trade off, and why this wax is so durable). You can apply and remove with high speed buffers, orbitals or by hand.
