Collinite 870 Liquid Fleetwax is developed for Marine and Aeronautical Finshes, to seal and shield against acid rain, sun, salt spray, bugs and other environmental acids. Easily applied and non-abrasive, 870 can be applied with a high speed buffer or by hand. After working into the finish, let 870 dry completely and buff remainder off the finish. This product is recommended for finishes that are in sound condition (waxed and cleaned regularly), without heavy oxidation or discoloration. For more oxidized finishes, we recommend a two step process, starting with Collinite 920 and finishing with Collinite 925. For extremely oxidized gel coats, either heavily 'chalked' or discolored, we recommend a stronger compound from Presta Products, either Ultra Cutting Creme or SuperCut (for gel coats that would have to be wet sanded), then seal the finish with Collinite 925.
